@Ashlesh Okay so I may have got carried away in this discussion. But I want to know (views and ideas from all IFN members) what India should do right now to increase the pace of football development in India? In other words what must be done to qualify for 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup?
@all Today is 10th June 2014 and World Cup in Qatar will start in 2022 which means 7 to 8 years difference. So what should India do in this 7 to 8 years so that we can beat teams such as South Korea, Australia or Iran and at least qualify for FIFA World Cup (AFC has 4 slots)? Is it million dollar money to be spent on World class infrastructure or ISL or more exposure in european countries or getting world class teams to India? What do you think AIFF should do? How can they convince FII's to invest in Indian football in a big way?
@cybertron, millions of dollars spent through last quarter of century did not get an entry in a world cup for Qatar, UAE, Kuwait (only once), Iraq, Jordan, ... There must be something else into it.
