Club Management is in search of a decent young Defender for the I-League, Federation Cup & AFC Cup. Amiri & Bedami are just stop gap arrangement for the Utpal League & a couple of tornaments which the Management is planning to play in Oct & Nov.
One thing is sure no good foreign player will come to our club as infrastructure is very poor in India. Only for money no good player will spoil their carrier.
Sony Norde, Katsumi Yusa are not good players then ? Neither Sony Norde nor Katsumi Yusa have spoilt their careers as yet. Infrastructure wouldn't produce good Foreign players, it will produce good Indian players I think.
As a supporter of Mohun Bagan club I always believe best player will play in our club. Regarding Sony Norde . He is good in Indian Standard. But our club giving him so much money he can't get from any club in India at present. May be some of 2nd and 3 rd division club in European club will not give him also . He is playing his national team as a substitute. also not for every match . Also his friend Judalin Avaska. Can't prove himself here. But he played more than Sony for his country. Same to Katsumi, good player here but can anyone knows him in his country as footballer ? Also single handed rare he win match for our club . But in our standard he is more than ok. Neither we have money nor our football standard is high that young talented foreign player will come here . Our player who can play in their level 1 standard was Barreto. One Brazilian club came at that time in India their coach told that Baretto can play in their premium division . But he is different than other professional player. He is not looking for huge money but fall love for our club and supporters and that is rare for a talented player like him.
Played very poor game....no excuse. For us everyday is not Sunday.....for some everyday is made in to a Sunday by some felicitated gentlemen who graces the field with a whistle.
