EB did offer Suvo but he refused. Now he can enjoy a career selling mobile phones or something like that from 2021.

Dheeraj Singh is a bad goalkeeper, Avilash Pal is much better and should become an automatic number 2 in ATK. Boris, Komal these are greedy kids, all they care about is money and new hairstyles. They would have played in Ileague for a couple of years if they actually cared about their footballing careers.

Why blame Habbas? Is it his fault that AIFF has a 2 month Ileague2 season? Is it the coach to be blamed for AIFF's structural faults? As a manager he is here to win, utilizing available resources to the best of his capability and he has been successful at that.

Guys like Probir Das, Sumit Rathi flourished under Habbas. A top club's senior team isn't a place for rampant youth development.

You need a football director in Indian clubs, then you can think about developing your young guns, send them on loan, monitor them. It's not the job of the senior team's manager.

True, ATK management more than Habas can be blamed here, if we absolve the reckless FSDL from all crimes (that would need a dedicated thread altogether). But Habas should be answerable for his selection of ATK 'academy' kids over tested and gritty MB youngsters.

Who are these ATK academy kids?

Aryan Lamba, Fardeen Ali Molla and some NE kid.
  • Its simple. When as a franchise,u pump in 50 cr/year on football in India, knowing fully well that you would not even feature on the global football map for the next God knows how may years, then whats left with u?

Its trophy, promoting your brand (CESC, Jio, JSW and the likes), get a share of the TV rights and try to recover as much as you can of the 50 cr! Its like you have X cores towards advertising/brand building corporate budget for the year and out of that you park 50 crores for ISL!  No wonder Jio's consumer base has gone up manifold in 3 years time. As an Indian investor, go hell with promoting budding talents, promote football - all those are gyan to them!

Thats the sad story of Indian football for the last 6 years. I- League is the breeding ground, and promising talents are lured away by ISL clubs - courtsey money, fame, glitz, training abroad, staying at 5 star props for 4/5 months only to be lost in oblivion.

Actually coach like Habas is not comfortable with young promising players that's why they don"t get much opportunity in his team nothing more than that and at the end of the day Club officials generally focus on Club performance if coach give that to them then they as well as most of the supporters support the Coach.
