Oh Yes. She was smiling while lifting the load. Bad day for India continues. Achanta Kamal in TT lost 1-4 to Romania player. Sania/Thombre lost 6-7, 7-5, 5-7 to Chinese pair.
Waste of tax payers money. The basic infrastructure for sports is non existent in India. Why do we spend money in sending these mediocre sportspersons. Instead this money could hv been used to develope facilities.
Olympics is not a shit competition... all countries will give their heart out to win medals.... and it is everyone dream to win medals... it is still 1st day and many events are left... please don't disappoint.... today for me , main disappointment is 10 m Jitu Rai event... However he done well in initial stages and qualified for final... it's our bad luck not to get a medal in this event... even Korean is not on podium.. I expected him on podium.. even Chinese participant failed in final round and finished in 3rd position....
In these events, talent alone will not be sufficient, we need to handle pressure as well...

Facilities alone will not be sufficient for Indians... we mainly schools/parents should understand the necessity of sports in curriculum.....

These same set of players won lot of competitions/medals outside India including Asian/World championships.... qualifying for Olympics is itself is an achievement... ... First you please qualify for any Olympic event and then comment... Regarding medals,,, only 1 day finished.... we still have many events to get medals... most pessimistic comment from you...
