I often tell my students that while the profession of teaching has many occupational hazards and I have to study a lot more than when I was a student, I am grateful for small mercies--the arduous task of "commit and vomit" and the spectre of examinations no longer loom large on the horizon
Sadly sir, the commit and vomit hasn't left me yet. Regarding literature, I feel that 'commit and vomit' and ''marksism" actually weakens one's appreciation of the text rather than developing it. The proof is that we are far more likely to share stories which we have read as hobby and not the ones in our textbooks.
