Since munna and @debarghya89 were discussing about Novy Kapadia in another thread, let me fill up with some details.
Although he was not a participant in the forum, he was a contributor for our blog. In our early days, we contacted him and he agreed for us to publish his articles. It was very kind of him to agree, because we were a new website at that time, football coverage used to be much worse than now and there weren't many good writers. Apart from helping the website, it was also a personal boost for us.
In fact, in our 1st yr., we also had a tie up with COSCO, where we started a prediction game and distributed COSCO footballs to some of the winners. I hope some of the proud recipients of the COSCO balls are still in this forum
Could you enlighten us about the Fateh Hyderabad owner incident...who he was, what username he used here, when and in what thread he responded to questions from members?
But the present is glorious too. We have lots of new members (though it is true that some old members, including legends, are missing or not active these days), a plethora of views on the upliftment of Indian football. and, although we might bicker at times, keeping the acrimony aside, it shows our passion for the game in India
I think @munna219777 or perhaps @mohammed_87hassan are better placed to answer about Fateh Hyderabad, it was time, I was participating much less in the discussions.
We also had a former video analyst of fateh and their manager who were members but didn't comment that's how @ashindia got the gig to take photographs of their games
I could trace all the discussions in the "I-league Second Division" thread 3 years ago...it was very good to see a club owner interacting with members of IFN...hoping for more interactions in the future
