last year when he was part of KBFC when Draft took place where majority of players were selected that time he did not said anything but now when he is out of scene because he was not paid he is raising his concern ?
First kerala need to find local owner not dummy owner who lives and breate in mumbai ..
Last year supposedly inspite of having limited players in the draft, KBFC still made up with a decent squad. This time it has been utter crap from the word "go". But, then who would not react if not paid. KBFC needs to ensure suggestions need to be taken from local influencers such as Vijayan seriously.
hope that there will be some drastic changes in the management part for the coming season; current season probably being a season to forget for the fans as well as Kerala blasters management
The cream of talent picked from the five Kerala Blasters Football Schools in the State showcased their skills in the Kerala trials of the Reliance Foundation-Young Champs at the Corporation Stadium here on Monday.
Nearly 120 children from the KBFS centres and grassroots partner schools were in action at the event held as part of ISL season two.
The RF-Young Champs will shortlist talented children from all the ISL clubs and offer them special two-week training at its academy in Mumbai. The best of this bunch will get a full scholarship for the academy programme.
Summer camps
The KBFS, which has former World Cupper Terry Phelan as its technical director, will now conduct summer camps for children in the 8 to 12 years age group, under a central syllabus across 10 centres in the State by the middle of April.
The KBFS also plans to form football teams in various centres through these summer camps and make these teams compete against each other at the district and State level.
Talented players, picked from these camps, will be offered scholarships to attend the KBFS schools.
The summer camps will be held in Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Malappuram and Manjeri and steps are on to include Kollam and Kottayam.
