@EastBengalPride - I have no idea who you are referring to or why you think I would put myself on a pedestal, but hen again it could be well down to my "corrupt" "Kerala education".
I fully support this idea of fan based club. This is the only club/region where such a radical idea is even thinkable in India. Thanks to the popularity created by ISL.So we should definitely give it a try during merging. But before that we should create a official fans association within this time and popularise and bring everyone to the same idea. I urge you people to strongly popularise this idea through medias. It can definitely be succesfull in our state.
Everything 'part of conventional system' in this county is "corrupt". The only fucking thing we can argue is who or which is less corrupt on a relative scale.
The moment we assign someone else to look after our needs the seeds of corruption are sown.
Answer to this is people starting to solve their own problems. That is power should(atleast for a large set of issues) be with people.
In short, representative democracy is not the answer it is actually the cause. Direct democracy/Swaraj is the answer.
As munna has pointed out, if anything that wont work in a state like kerala in long term is business man owned franchises. If nothing goes wrong, atleast trade unions will find a reason to protest against them on a long term.
