Why only select from Jharkhand. Were the scouts sleeping during the other matches. There could also be individual talents in other teams who may have got unnoticed due to their team performance. What about those champs
Sparta never said they only selected from Jharkhand but there were 6 talented players from the Jharkhand team that were selected out of the god knows how many.
Also,you don't win with such big margins if you aren't good enough. Many of these guys might not have formal training, those from outside Jamshedpur certainly didn't have training. Most of these kids are the products of inter village tournaments which are quite popular in Jharkhand. Another academy in Ranchi or any other local academy will certainly push the development here. We don't have access to quality leagues like in goa or cfl. A state league will unearth good sporting talent here.
