SC was the Indian Coach for 2006 World Cup Qualification campaign also. Ironically it was Home defeat against Oman due to which he was kicked out. I guess 1-5 we lost at Cochin.
Regardless of the coach and whatever he has done and the squad "he" assembled... we should hope India can get the best results they can get. Ashley Westwood won't do better than Stephen Constantine just because of a good couple of seasons.

The Team selection isn't as bad as people are making it sound. Only two players are not in the Probables as you would have liked. Honestly, the first eleven is not going to include the likes of Romeo or Brandon or Passi for that. Fans need to be less fickle, get pissed off only when the results are horrible.
