Even if rescheduling is done, I'd want it in the same weekend on a Friday or perhaps Thursday instead of months or weeks later. It's not fair for the other title hopefuls.
Firstly its very fair to postpone the matches because the best team in your country is playing the highest continental tournament. No arguments there.. 4 games in 10 days is a joke. And what is more disgraceful is the reason AIFF not postponing the match...Because DSK have a Shaan concert lined up that day and tickets have been sold. So you can postpone the match but not the song and dance!!
We, on part of AIFF, give three days notice because we sleep (we need it), and get up only three days before the clash of schedule. Also, we did not apprehend that one of the clubs registered under us would disturb us by winning an AFC-ACL-whatzit match ...
In any case, let them slog it out, they haven't won the World Cup, did they?
Its absolute Amateur stuff from AIFF.. Most FA's will always have a Reserve day each fortnight atleast to plug in matches which needs to be completed due to postponement or if a Team is cup tied.
The fact that AIFF are not allowing a match reschedule means that they would have expected MB to lose against Tampines. Thats some confidence on your own league's champions last season.
Each time the top 2 teams of your league's club are playing in continental championships which are clashing will automatically have to be pushed to a reserve dates already pre decided..
Oh well no wonder IMG/Rel stepped in to show how it needs to be done.
@atuljg when barca etc play club world cup....they skip 1-2 rounds of domestic league which is played later b/w march-April....others don't complain about unfairness as they realise that Barca is representing Spain and Europe
Aiff needs to respect that it made a mistake in scheduling and postpone the dsk fixture....or MB should not go.

You guys already see the outrage from postponed matches in England with WEEKS notice... in India we give 3 days notice!
