Well none of these Englishmen have the right to be racist to a country which is paying them more than they could ever dream off anywhere else for their , lets admit it, meagre talents.......
Infact Rohan I think Indians are too reluctant to speak out against such comments......I rarely hear any overpaid footballer speak out while pLaying in China.....because they know thy will be out of a contract in no time....
Just stop, none of these Englishmen have done much wrong here. If you read all there quotes and actually be open minded, you would see they enjoy their time in India and say they see potential in Indian football. These quotes should be something to be positive about.
Well its a small difference distance from condescending which these comments surely were......
We don't need certificates from out of work Englishmen to prove Indian football has a future.....
We may develop slowly than the fans want but we will soon do what we did in cricket....beat them at lords/Wembley
None of these players/coaches came to India for any great noble cause.....they came for the same reason that they have been coming for centuries..to make a quick buck.
I-League: Mohun Bagan mulling over lodging an official complaint against Bengaluru FC coach Ashley Westwood
Mohun Bagan officials got involved in a half-time spat with Bengaluru FC coach Ashley Westwood and one his support staff during the club's 2-0 win against the Blues at the Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday evening. This has not gone well with the Green and Maroonmanagement who are not ruling out the option of lodging an official complaint with the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
According to the Bagan officials, Bappa Ghosh was allegedly attacked by Westwood and the club manager's wristwatch broke in the brawl that followed.
"The first thing is that this is nothing new. Wherever he (Westwood) goes, he does these things. Without any provocation Westwood and his physiotheraptist kept abusing us throughout the match and then this incident happened at half-time. Pradhyum Reddy (Bengaluru FC assistant coach) was nice to us, their manager was nice to us and the media manager also tried to pacify. But these two guys kept on abusing," Ghosh told Goal.
If Mohun Bagan knock the doors of All India Football Federation (AIFF), this will be the second time in two weeks a club has lodged a complaint against the Manchester United youth product. Earlier East Bengal had alleged that Westwood had racially abused their club doctor Shambo Samrat Samajdar when the two teams met in late January. The Federation has already given the coach a clean chit since the fourth referee didn't mention about the incident in his match report.
"I will meet the club hierarchy on Monday and inform them about what happened. I am not ruling out the option of lodging an official complaint," Ghosh further added.

I rest my case. This was the line that I was talking about: Yes, it is not by Ramage, but by the journalist, Peter Aslop: 'That phrase, however, is somewhat of an understatement when it comes to immersing oneself into life in India, a country where the overwhelming mass of people, poverty, noise and smells offer arguably a bigger culture shock than anywhere else on the planet'.
Mb won, get over it they were better.
