don't worry , no risk of Mumbai FC ever qualifying for AFC competition

They passed National License , and for them that is enough

Ina 6 team "league" (which Is where India will in 2years) it's possible (1ACL &2 AFC cup). But MFC in its twitter handle claims Cooperage needs only minor upgrades which will b done

I am more concerned about the training facilities...surely thy don't have a half decent training ground gym etc for practice...how did they fake that????!!

Essel group had an unattainable ambition to take on BCCI, ICC and the entire world cricket establishment. They even proceeded to register various cricket association's across various countries.

Morons have no ambition or interest when it comes to fund and run a single football club which can grow a lot.

Lets face it I-league clubs are too slow on youth devlopment , if all this new measures like AFC rules nd all wud be imbibed in system 10 years ago we wud be a lot higher up in ranking of i-league among other leagues in the world. But thing comes to ur present situation, I know of the kolkata situation perfectly, neither East bengal or Mohun Bagan hav any plans of building their own stadium so hw did they pass afc rules , by showing YBK as their main stadium where my kid brother goes for school functions!!!!! East Bengal nd Mohun Bagan hav a lot of funding theough hedge nd all !!! but the maidan ground with some seats is nt their stadium it is on rent from army!!!! Politics has ruined kolkata football

@shankar @deepakc ; If Mumbai FC ever participate in AFC Cup, then they can organise their games in Pune Balewadi Stadium. North East teams can play in Guwahati Indira Athletic stadium.
Andheri Sports Complex is even worse then Cooperage Stadium. It is  shaadi tent awards function venue and unfit for any Sports event really.

How about Brabourne stadium? From Google maps, it doesn't appear circular like Wankhade or DY Patil. It could be converted to a football specific stadium.

Brabourne stadium is owned by CCI. No football game would happen there IMO.
