In past, Brabourne Stadium has hosted Rovers Cup and even Dog Race. Unfortunately present administration is full of those Businessman who basically are not interested in Sports at all. They get one practise game like Board President XI vs Touring Team. Those people enjoy club house, Bar, 5 star facilities and are uninterested in Sports really.
It would take a lot of money and investment to get anything done and with the current scene of Indian football where one league is 3 months long out of 12 and the other is 4-5 out of 12, you are not going to get anything.
Until we get a 6-7 month at least season, do not expect anything. There is no reason to put any money into infrastructure or stuff like fighting for Brabourne Stadium until that happens.
