Do not think everyone to be a provincialist like you. I do not pretend.

Everybody has his own views about whom they should support. Some support only one team & they are referred to as die-hard fans of that club. I love Vasco SC the most followed by other Goan clubs like sporting, Churchill, Salgaoncar & last Dempo. Likewise for any given match my support will be in that order. My top priority is Goan Interests. I am accepting if some members are designating me as a 'provincialist' for doing so but i rather be a 'provincialist' who respects his country than be a nationalist who abuses his own mothers & sisters. I dont have any ill will to other clubs of the country & sincerely wish then well.

So why are you trying to prove yourself as a sole voice of goan football? Why comment on some clubs over which you absolutely have no knowledge? You do not accept your defeat fair and square, you extend your support to every stupid team originated from a particular region, you switch your support at will but every time it would be goan team. Being supportive of goan teams or loving goan football does not mean you go on hurting others without any logic. You do not talk about football, it is only goa goa and goa for you. you are nothing but a mere provincialist, not a football fan.

I truly supported EB in the AFC cup but they disappointed me by playing below their potential.

I truly supported EB in the AFC cup but they disappointed me by playing below their potential.

That is the reason I am telling you that you do not know enough about EB. We did pretty badly for the last couple of years. The reason being some internal politics and ineligibility or rather ignorance of our recruiters. We could not fix foreign players in time, and when it became evident we need them badly, we recruited bad ones. Then we tried to experiment and went on like foreign outfits where coach will solely decide what team he wants. Unfortunately, Subhas Bhowmik's plan backfired and we ended up with a bellow per team.

This year the recruiters started with a different motto altogether. We are on the process of setting up a new team. Therefore we did not retain even Yakubu despite he was very respected and commited fugure. That is the reason we installed a new manager, went on scouting for good and proven players instead of taking trials. We also included some strategic players (but formation of Indian Arrows team is a little blow for us because four of our players were reserved for that). All things were done so that we can do better in the Indian circuit first, we never thought about AFC cup to begin with because we did not have a stable team like Dempo.

The team somehow worked well despite some weakness in defense and midfield, which we plan to rectify this year so that towering Okpara can get better support. The next step would be to retain the full team (almost) and adding other strategic players. Morgan has already some plan for AFC cup next year.

Therefore you already overexpected from EB in the AFC cup. Winning I-league (which is 80% probability, because EB and MB rarely loose from this type of situation) would be really good enough for us. Even if for some reason we fail to do so, the team showed great potential. With the core intact, we can only do better in the coming years.

I finally accept your explanation. After reading your above post i wonder if b4begin is a single person or a multiple complexity. In your earlier posts you were very rude. I sincerely wish EB the very best(except for the matches against CB & SAL) in this years i-league. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I was trying to discuss football from the beginning but you were hell bent to prove jealousy quotent and bengal-goa angle. I have enough maturity to know if my team do not play well, they will loose. But they won't loose just because they have to play against some goan teams.
