    I want AIFF to give direct entries in next ileague to NewDelhi Heroes, Sikkim United & Southern Railways.
    don't you think its unfair to give any club unnecessery advantage/direct entry. If they are good enough then they can obviously qualify through the 2nd div. It will be utterly depressing and unfair on the other 2nd div teams part who are fighting to come up every year.
    anyway i don't think direct entry of any 2nd/3rd div team in i-league is possible.

    we this season will be having two new teams getting promoted along with them we shall add two new entries from those places where there was no representation but a scope for fan support like delhi, hyderabad or anywhere from northeast or north.....this would mean the place for teams getting promoted is not affected either....and the league is getting national look too
  • To all my friends on IFNF who hate Goan clubs - This is am absolute shocker: I just now received news from some friends that there will be three teams from Goa in the ileague 2nd div too just like last year namely Vasco SC, Seza Goa & Margäo SC. And the worst news is they are already building their team taking into consideration the 2nd div ileague except Seza which is only keen in participating.
    we would like to have vasco /margao....but not these corporate named clubs.....if in next season ,the no of teams from goa/kolkatta crosses the no of 4...i m signing off from watching indian football and may be only watch mumbai fc and national match...it will be the limit ... <!-- s:angry-argument: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/angry/argument.gif" alt=":angry-argument:" title="Argument" /><!-- s:angry-argument: -->

    i totally agree to u sankar....we all love the presence of kolkata and goan clubs...we have to agree that without their presence, indian football wud be like a coconut tree without coconuts!! and, yes, the only thing that shud be promoted for a national level league shud be a city or regional based club and not clubs where corporates dominate and not regions....currently, i-league is in such a state with so many clubs which are named after private and sole corporates like Prayag United, Chirag United, Dempo, salgaocar, churchill, air indai, hal, and even eb and mb uses their corporates to term themselves as kingfisher east bengal and mcdowell mohun bagan...its almost the whole side of our i-league....!!so, for rather terming our league as a national league, we can term it as a private football league.....!! and this will comtinue till this system is changed...the only way of hope for chane to happen...!! take hockey for example, even though they dont have such a following for hockey like football in india, but still world series hockey is almost turning out to be a reputed and wealthy city based franchise league....!!
  • and yes, sankar is only about to shift his interest to just mumbai and indain team....i hav already shifted my interests to just some pro. bases of i-league like mumbai and pune and also to our national side.....i am hating all the rest happening in indian football....let it be the domination of multi-kolkata clubs, multi-goan clubs, the zoombas, cheer girls on empty stands, the political and management interference on the coaching staffs, everything happening now in this current system of i-league...!!

    agree with u on delhi and sikkim side...but, why in the hell a govt entity like souther railways...its no different from a looser i-league club called air india... <!-- s:confusion-scratchheadyellow: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/confusion/scratchheadyellow.gif" alt=":confusion-scratchheadyellow:" title="Yellow Scratching Head" /><!-- s:confusion-scratchheadyellow: --> <!-- s:confusion-shrug: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/confusion/shrug.gif" alt=":confusion-shrug:" title="Shrug" /><!-- s:confusion-shrug: -->

    This whole I-league system is unfair for clubs from outside kolkata and goa...!! so, wats the meaning in calling it unfair for those clubs who already have a representation in i-league from the same region or city.....????
  • I still cant understand why these Kolkata and Goan fans are so greedy to cheer for multi sides if they can be happy with a single club with more and more quality local stars who are currently playing for different clubs from same city or region itself...if its a single side, we can have a lots and lots of talents for these single franchise or pro sides like kolkata(subrata, debrata, abhishek,mehtab, jewel, nabi,lalkamal,ashim biswas, tudu......), goa(shallum pires, denzil, gawli, rowilson, d'cunho, abranches, climax, gilbert, shilton d'silva, miranda, antony perriera,peter carvalho, noel, branco cordozo,......), kerala(meloy, pradeep,sanal saleel,anas edathodika, sushanth mathew, rino anto,zakeer, asif, denson, ajayan, mh. rafi, anil kumar, sabeeth,bineesh.......), punjab(karanjeet, manju, anwar, jagpreet, balpreet, baldeep, baljeeth, jagtar, balwant,.......), bangalore(kuttymani, mohanraj, lester fernandes, venkatesh), mumbai(steven dias, raju gaikwad, sameer naik, abishek yadav, manandeep singh,....), delhi(most lethal striker of indai chhetri and robin singh), and the options of reputed talents are never ending when its the turn of shillong, sikkim,.....!! so, is it really something of a system where we all can cheer for our own side for a fresh reason instead of even the non-kolkata/goans cheering for EB and MB....??? why cant we cheer for our local sides???? lets that be the true national league....!! not a kolkata goan occupied league....!! <!-- s:confusion-shrug: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/confusion/shrug.gif" alt=":confusion-shrug:" title="Shrug" /><!-- s:confusion-shrug: -->

    When i said direct entry into ileague i meant surely at some financial cost. I simply do not agree with varunkochi. imsourav do have a point to say and i agree with him. If we implement the views of varun then football will be totally destroyed in India. I cant understand why he hates Goa and kolkata. My point is you build on your strengths and not on your weaknesses. Goa and kolkata are the present centres of Indian football.

    I like to remind Varun that Churchill Bros FC is not owned by any corporate. It is the only family club in India owned by Churchill Alemao and his brothers.

    i never said that i hates goa and kolkata...!! y shud i...?? i only hates these multiple sides from kolkata who are just trying to occupy the national league...!! and can u explain how in the world can this be a failure....??? i hav pointed out various points to support my point....!! if u have any.....just say it...!! <!-- s:confusion-shrug: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/confusion/shrug.gif" alt=":confusion-shrug:" title="Shrug" /><!-- s:confusion-shrug: -->
