The CV of Marcus Falopa wasn't less impressive either. Just because BFC fans haven't seen or heard anything beyond Westwood doesn't mean better coaches hasn't been to India.
Also, don't recall a BFC fan in Kolkata for any matches so far, so talk about supporting your club. As I said, Kantiveera was barely half full on the league winning home match last season. Yeah, they have started well, good on them.
Besides, BFC's relegation cushion is over. If they get relegated, would a second division club be allowed in top tier? I sure hope not! As @goalkeepar mentioned, they would have to outbid Ozone and IMG-R isn't overtly fond of BFC.
Falopa was an assistant coach for Brazil in the 80s for a bit, had some decent coaching gigs as well back then. Was average as a TD for CONCACAF and then South Africa before taking on jobs like Oman's youth coach, Myanmar head coach etc.
Roca was at Barcelona, Galatasaray, and Saudi Arabia as assistant coach before going to El Salvador, doing decently with them, esspecially at the Gold Cup, and is now here. All this within the last decade.
Danny McLennan coached some decent teams in Africa and Asia in the 70s but then had nothing much in the 80s and 90s until he ended his career coaching Churchill Brothers before the turn of the century.
Both Falopa and McLennan have extensive careers but by the time they come to India they are pretty much spent, esspecially McLennan. Both were well beyond their prime years in coaching. Roca is just coming off coaching the El Salvadorians a year ago and assisting Frank Rijkaard three years ago.
Today, it is more impressive, no matter what way you try to spin it.
Dont know if you don't understand or deliberately pretend not to, but we were saying coaches with a good profile. Falopa had managed top tier famous Brazilian clubs like Palmeiras and Santos. He was also an assistant manager for Brazilian NT. Yes, he had a long coaching career and he came here during the fag end of it but that doesn't take away his records and prolific pedigree as a coach (Indian context). No one disagrees about the new BFC coach being a high profile one.
I am not sure Falopa actually coached Palmeiras or Santos. Joãozinho was the Santos coach from 1994 to 1995 which is when Falopa was supposedly there. Same with Palmeiras, where Tele Santana was head coach at the time Falopa was there. Even at Nagoya Grampus, the first recorded head coach for the club in the professional era of football for Japan is Ryuzo Hiraki. Falopa is not listed anywhere and most likely either was coach when the club were still semi-pro or was assistant.
And I do understand. But Dominic says that McLennan was just as impressive while you said that Falopa's CV was not less impressive either. However, when put into context of when they were signed and what they did recently, Roca is easily the best signing by far in terms of coaching. Is it spectacular? No, but IMO, better than McLennan and Falopa, who now there can be doubts over his CV, specially when his recently CV is not that hot.

WBB lead "actor" is paid by BFC and has beended for 2 years now.
BFC have never managed to fill Kanteerava and have never reached the heights of HAL & ITI in terms of crowds for a Bangalore game.
With Ozone having taken the best on BFC youth by the sounds of our new member...it will be a very interesting season ahead.
BTW..Ozone are not dead and buried for ISL... and BFC are no guarantees.... a merger of these 2 has also been proposed by FSDL
