In a new strategy to get crowd for ISL matches in city's like Delhi and Pune. ISL has joined hands with reliance jio. free sim cards will be available inside the stadium which will attract thousands of people the distribution will start at 7 and end by 7:30 after which all the gates of the stadium will be closed which will force the crowd to seat inside the stadium till the match ends.

Not surprised people lack common sense here...there was no footballing culture in Delhi...cricket ruled the roost and the league which landed in the city just 3 years back in a stadium that's the worst for the sport...can't ever get you a 25,000+ crowd without some efforts...even if they are forced in...atleast they are getting the addictive taste of football...and you can expect what they would do next...

Really??? Ambedkar Stadium remains quite busy this time of the year with Subroto Cup. Also Durand Cup is back in Delhi.

Balls. People here just sit on their asses and pass their hypothesis. I was there at the game. It was damn crowded. NorthEast outnumbered Delhi. Entry had a long queue. Delhi has a typical problem. People are always late. Be it office, or any other event. Its imbibed deep into the culture. To be lazy ass and be late. As for the attendance, its genuine. Bar code scanners were present at every entry.
Only complaint I have is with poor organization. No coordination between police, bookmyshow, DDFC and security agency. DDFC were distributing flags with sticks right in front of the entry to stadium. After entering the stands, the sticks were taken away by the police. Bc Firr de hi kyu rahe ho. Pehle hi mat do. Bookmyshow guys were allowing people to enter any stand without actually checking the stands for which they bought the ticket. If after entering the stadium, you intend to go to your stand, you have bouncers in between to deal with who won't allow you to go apparently to stop people with lesser priced tickets from sitting in expensive stands. In this case, it was opposite. So, if u had to enter ur stand, you have to come out of stadium and do so even though its connected in between. Bookmyshow fucked up big time.

On a side note, Indians can't organize and manage. Indian work ethic is very poor to be honest. Such unprofessionalism, no wonder the country is lacking a lot in every sphere while others are progressing at a high rate. People might argue that we are developing and others are developed. So, actually we are growing faster. Balls. Developed countries are working to move from good tech to better tech. Thus, the slow growth.
We are focussing on have good tech without improving fundamentals. Bling is good. The day we start moving forward on fundamental infra, then the growth will be real. This wifi at stations nd bullet train is not development. Bullet train chalayenge but basic infra improve nahi karenge. The government can only do as much. Yes, they are not the most efficient. But, people don't help either. Such attitude won't take us anywhere.

    Such a long rant.
