Phillipines lost to Australia u-23 1-0 in dubai...azkals having all their overseas players played well in 2nd half but were still 2nd to the youthful aussie team..
Tajikistan lost 1-2 to uzbek club shurtan..next up they are against Cluj of Romania..
Our friendly oponent Oman would also be in good shape as they take on Wigan from England in a friendly.
So everyone is working hard and we now we gotta make the most of our friendlies..

okay Oman just lost to wigan 1-0..not a bad result I think
oman keeper al-hasbi played first half for Oman and then 2nd half for wigan..remember he is a wigan player..so it seems Blue Tigers would be up against a team with a premier league GK..hope chhetri scores against him if he plays:handgestures-thumbup:
Anwar really? Even Mahesh Gawli is faster than him. Anwar is nothing but a liability.
I will prefer to keep one position in central defence blank rarher than including Anwar. Atleast the other back will not be expecting anything.

Still though. That is just seriously wrong. Stay in East Bengal, he has a good chemistry there. So what if he is not selected. Like you said his form is dipping so maybe that could be the reason.
from what i can see mehtab was not the same effective midfielder and also his more indiscipline performances giving red cards also plays against him as he could leave indian team at poor stage with those aggressive stints...

Its just a theory, but maybe true. Mehtab must be frustrated after being ignored so many times. His form is also dipping now compared to last yr
