Much improved display because mainly the U17 team played..also a lack of combinations and tactical game sense was missing. Yemen team was strong and winning every 50-50 challenge, their finishing was pathetic.. Rahim Ali is not so good..Amarjit,Sanjeev,Ninthoi,Nongdamba,Jitendra,Sahil were all good
Was watching the highlights. 80% attack was from Yemen. Against which team are we going to attack or play more open ended game? I would like to see how to play next match against an easier opposition and maybe Nepal/Bhutan to see if we still play defensive.. If Matos gives us these results, I do not see any reason of keeping him. Rather give this team to an Indian in I-league. Will cost much less. And those who think development of these players will be stunted, they are anyways not developing under Matos
It is weird to see the Indian team playing defensively because when you think about the individual players and what we are good at, I feel we could be a lot more attacking
I think all combination/formations played are different in each match..how would the team even settle down..each one is literally playing for his own position in such a scenario
