After the hostile takeover of FC Goa by Casino King Jaydev Mody,The Casino group is now planning to takeover a local Pro League club in their desperate bid to enter the Goa Pro league.They have approached Vasco Sports Club as well as some other smaller clubs. Besides they are also in touch with the GFA to reduce the direct entry fee initially announced.
Mody is a Business partner of Reliance group. They must be having their own internal matters. In a private league, it is upto owner to decide who will run their private club. Nothing illegal and nothing hostile.
Some transfer rumours: Mohun Bagan are reportedly keen in signing two promising wingers, Udanta Singh of BFC and Chesterpoul Lyngdoh of Churchill Brothers. Singh would be a free player after this season but Lyngdoh is contracted to ISL club Pune City FC...They are also interested in signing East Bengal centre-back Koushik Sarkar who is currently playing on a loan for Kenkre FC In other news, FC Goa representatives have reportedly been in talks with Wedson...Wedson has said that he would like to play in the ISL but his agreement with East Bengal stands in the way...he reportedly has a three year contract with the club but East Bengal have reportedly sent only a six-months agreement to the Federation East Bengal have reportedly not approached footballers of other clubs but are trying to retain the footballers of their own club!....laughable....as if the present EB footballers represent the creme de la creme of Indian football of the present
