Not really...EB played miserably, especially in the second half, Chennai City played very well and rebounded after the break, Charles was okay but I think it was the local lads, especially Soosairaj, Nandhakumar and Prasanth who troubled the East Bengal defence more...It is not that I am comparing him to a WWE wrestler for the first time...people had been doing so ever since he joined CCFC and struggled initially, though he later managed to score some goals (4 in the I-League and 5 in the Fed Cup)...however, I am not sure whether he would be successful at East Bengal...in fact, in the East Bengal Samachar page where they announced that this 'well-proportioned Brazilian striker' would be playing for EB next season, one bemused supporter had written--'What has well-proportioned got to do with a striker's scoring abilities...if physique was the only factor behind the success of a footballer, why didn't we bring the Undertaker to our club?'
@goalkeepar: No, I am not confusing Charles with Tank...I know both are heavily built...yes, Charles was more successful than Tank and played well against Aizawl FC...Khalid has this tendency to stick with foreigners who have played on Indian soil but Charles is not yet a player in the mould of Amna and Katsumi who have been playing here for quite some time...he is not a proven goal-scorer, I would say
