Norde is or was definitely one of the top players but Wedson is just about what you would expect from a East Bengal foreigner. Norde didn't really set the league on fire.

Wedson scored 7 and missed a few games due to injury. He was way better than a Leo Bertos or Chris Payne. And he probably left his best years back in Bangladesh, he is 31 remember. Bangladesh definitely scouts better than us. And Norde propels Bagan, he may not be a Barreto but he is the best foreign player in I-League by some distance.

We should not compare Wedson with Bertos or Payn. They were on Asian quota.

With proper scouting, Asian players can be better then Haiti players.
Why they only look at Australia for players/coaches of immigrant background?? There are other countries in Asia.
Japan, Korea, Arabs, Iran !!!!
