I just read in a Bengali paper that Sri Gokulam Group is a chit fund operator! In that case, this would be a dangerous association. Hope they are operating legally.

chit funds are not illegal as long as you run it without cheating people, evade taxes and other illegal stuffs.

They're a very much legal entity. Don't worry. The group also runs hotels, medical colleges, engineering colleges and hospitals.

Gokulam group is a famous chit company in kerala.but they have diverse business fields.There were in news recently by declaring hundreds of crores of black money with IDS sceme.
