Logistics wise Andheri Stadium makes more sense as near to Airport, near to Hotels, access to Public Transportation. Thats why SC also preferred this for Camp plus Friendlies. Being a Government body controlled stadium, rental is low plus the discounts of NGO charity type also applies.

It is upto the budget and fniances of ISL, what they think. If they have actual ticket paying public in the range of 30 thousand , they will move to D Y Patil.
Just wondering why the WB government is spending crores on EB MB ground! Turfs have been renovated, buckets seats installed, flood lights. EB has a modern dressing room, Jacuzzi, a top notch gym. EB should push to get non derby matches to be played in EB ground, it's a tough job (Army owned) but doable if pushed through persistently. Just reduce the capacity to 18K, you get a full house in a proper football stadium under lights.
