That airport is not capable of any commercial flight - maybe 8-10 seater corporate jet.

For a visiting team I guess it is only once they would have to make that journey so they probably don't care as much.

They will go by helicopter. tata advance system is modifying a helicopter(Mi 26) to transport the team in luxury.

So according to this tata article, ISL is going to start from November. They will change the turf to Bermuda Grass and install Floodlights by that time in Tata stadium.
