Tilak stadium unlikely to host any I-league matches this season. So no matches from Goa will be telecasted live this season.

    Source?

    I have my sources.

I never saw any development on football infrastructure completed by exact time

  • To be fair, it is not just India. In England it took years later to get the Emirates Stadium done. It took years to get Red Bull Arena done in MLS.

Look at the delay's going on in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. They can not even guarantee ready stadiums on time for the World Cup!!!
  • If Tilak Maidan at Vasco is not ready, then they can carry on at Duler Ground. It is getting good response from public. I am not a TV broadcast expert but is there a way to get TV transmission possible from Duler ground. Tenaction should take advise from Doordarshan guys-they are expert in broadcasting from adverse conditions. Some politician making a speech in school ground and they will fix camera on a makeshift tower and bring 1 OB van and broadcast it.

    BAD NEWS

No matches under flood lights at YBK till the legue returns from the 1 month break. CCTV s will be instaled through out the stadium.

  • After the break, they will find some other excuse.

I thought Salt Lake Stadium was also astroturf. As was soon to be Cooperage and Paljor Stadium. Also the Mizoram Football Stadium (AR Stadium).

the reason why i wanna see more such stadiums with stands close to field.... it gives excellent atmosphere for match and good experience for fans watching too
