We need football specific stadiums. All these round stadiums in India are made so that they can get the share of the cricket pie. There are too many of them already. I wonder how would the cricket fans feel if we place athletic tracks around the pitch

I don't know if that is going to happen but we need a lot of football stadiums and practice pitches with proper facilities.

The circle pitches with athletic tracks are fine for now. Indian football is not popular or rich enough for football-only stadiums yet (or at least a mass creation of them).<div><br></div><div>Look at Japan, they manage perfectly with athletic stadiums.</div>
