The main stadium should have adjacent practice grounds and the turfs should be of similar nature. YBK and Barasat are too far anyway. The best bet for YBK is to change to a quality grass turf. It can develop the nearby premises as training grounds. I am not sure how far the SAI facility is though.
Cooperage has no option but to change to grass in that case because there are some cricket stadiums closer by like CCI Brabourne and Wankhede plus there is Maidan area. Although whether the Cricket authorities will allow this or not is a big question. Mumbai may even lose the approval to some traditional stadiums like Cochin, Guwahati etc.

Posting this here as this has more to do with Indian football as a whole than the U17 World Cup... it is massive for the infrastructure here.
