Anas Edathodika will leave KBFC . Honestly didn't see this one coming . Expected him to stay but lack of game time was a real worry . Mumbai and ATK are interested in his services.
Not sure, whether he is an excellent physical trainer.
But I remember an incident during last year, when he was with ATK. I had gone for dinner at a city hotel where ATK had put up and the team had gone to play an away match. So few of the non regulars (Arnab Mondal, Faiyaz) who were not selected and Garcia was having dinner.
When most of the other guys had left and Garcia was still having his dinner, I walked up to him to strike a conversation. In the midst of the conversation, told him how the Bagan supporters missed him(i know many supporters likes him more than probably Norde as he is such an honest person) and reminded him about some of the incidents involving him how ecstatic, animated and happy we have seen him in the dugout whenever Bagan had either scored/won and this guy just couldn't hold back his tears.. and was weeping almost like a child in few minutes, saying how badly he too missed the Bagan supporters in his broken English;i was completely confused as to how I can console him! Tried my best and gave him some peptalk to cheer him up...and he looked so happy.
Times have change and all of us are in some sort of rat race everyday; but sometimes these incidents help u to take a pause and reflect back on certain things of life and gives a different perspective altogether...that there are still good people around and u can become a better person by just interacting with them/learning from them who are full of humility, modesty, honesty and genuinely good human being...
Indeed very happy for Garcia, that he is back in India...
