So Udanta is bad but Manvir is not? And can Farukh play as a winger (I suppose by incorporating him in a 4 midfield also comprising brandon, borges and Soosairaj, the only place left for him is right wing). Isn't he a CAM? And do you want to play a central midfield of brandon and Borges, knowing fully well that brandon br not cut out to play the role of either box to box mid nor plain central midfielder because his work rate and stamina sucks? You need good players with good work rate, tackling and excellent stamina to run, press and win the ball in the middle of park. India always plays with a double pivot of defensive minded midfielders so as to offer more protection to defence.
And how does manvir get in instead of Sahal and Thapa?
If u see, it was selected based on game time and performance in isl... Manvir is a forward and no competition with Sahal and thapa.... Manvir is there instead of Balwant & Jobby, both of them not having gametime... Manvir is getting gametime in a highly skilled FCGOA squad, which is great....Sahal has not garnered game time in isl and thapa is not in good form recently,,,,,

Jerry is a better option for udanta, changte etc. His drawbacks are his poor physique, and less pace compared to udanta, changte. He can even become Indian Neymer if he plays against "physical" arab teams ..Just kidding. He is a cool player and can provide more useful assists than Changte and Udanta.
One thing I noticed with Udanta is that he is now trying shots to score goals. He is still a good option for us if we play Counter attacking football and can give good assists in the counter attacks.

He had a very good last season also
At the same time Udanta is nothing like Sterling.
Jerry is a better player than Udanta in his OG position. Make Udanta comparison with other right wingers not right/left backs.
