we should keep all the PERMUTATIONS-COMBINATIONS away...just keep it simple and win the next two games.... leave qualification on FATE.... remember just 7 days ago before the qualifiers were about to begin, we all were talking about the new style , experience for youngsters and fighting displays from our team.... and they are DOING JUST THAT VERY COMPREHENSIVELY..... savor the moment and that under papas we are under the right hands
even a UAE-IRAQ draw will mean we wont get 2nd

its unfortunate that the Iraq - UAE match is the Last where they will know how the group will be placed...leaves ample scope for chicanery.. UAE must Lose one match ...Maybe Lebanon can do us a Favour.. just like their national team which beat UAE

India must do it's utmost best to demolish Turkmenistan and Oman because even then if they get third then they can become that one third place team that gets to qualify. We all know that Iraq and UAE will play for a draw. They have nothing to loose. But If someone beats UAE then that changes the game all together. India should stay strong and play their very best against Turkmenistan and even Oman who are gaining momentum after their loss to UAE
so what would be the qualification like? Means, there are overall 6 groups, so 2 from each group qualifies + host. That makes 13..what about the rest 3? so how many 3rd place team qualifies?
ok my bad...there r 7 groups...i would be diff to get the best 3rd position out of 7 groups fir India..many teams in contention (Quwait or Qatar - both have 6 points & hve 2 matches left..so if they draw against each other and win the last match that would take them to 10 pts, Yemen - 7 pts with GD 1, group e not started-probable contention Indonesia or Singapore-highly unlikely unles they defeat or draw either with Australia or japan, Group G- max Thailand at 9 points but if India scores 10 then they r ruled out)..

So most probably our fight will be with either Quwait/Qatar (this match should have a +ve result, then they r ruled out) or Yemen...

But first India needs to win both matches scoring high no of goals..
