We still have a decent chance to be the best placed 3rd placed team if the result from the UAE vs Iraq match doesn't go our way. We just have to beat Oman and hope that Burma beats Malaysia, anything else and we'll not make it because both of them have a very good GD (damn you, Philippines ).

There is fierce rivalry b/w iraq and other arab countries (Other being strong allies of US, and some ethnic and religious reasons as well) Iraq would surely go for a Win!!

I am really happy the way this Indian team fought in all the matches...doesnt matter if we dnt qualify..however, we will fight in the last match thats for sure and make sure we keep it simple..we win and hope for the best in UAE-Iraq match..if we qualify nothn better or else we can held our head high n cum bak <br>wotever the result this team has dne us proud..Hail the Blue Cubs and Sir Papas!! <br>

 </p><p>Qatar and Kuwait are yet to play each other and their wins against the last placed team won't be counted, which is currently Maldives, Qatar have won against them and Kuwait will play on the last match day. So assuming that Kuwait beat Maldives, the highest the 3rd placed team can score is 7 points (If the Qatar-Kuwait game is a draw) and India has a better GD at the moment. So, chances are high of us being placed better than either of them if we beat Oman.</p><p> </p><p><br></p><br>

I hope India beats Oman, but this group is still wide open. Any of the top 4 teams can get in. I f Iraq loses or draws then its Iraq and UAE, but if Iraq wins then India has a sure shot chance to finish second. Whatever the result, this has been the most impressive show by an Indian football team in recent times.<br>
