@Ronny ; Yuvraj and Devinder Walmiki, Lalit upadhyay, Affan Yousuf, Nitin and Nikkin Thimmaiah were in and out of the squad. With new players coming up from 2016 Junior World Cup winning squad, their NT career is now in doubt.
Pakistan beat Scotland 3-1 but it was a tough game for Pakistan.Scotland took the lead and had some golden chances to extend it to even 3-0.As I predicted, Scotland will be a tough game for them and it proved.However, Scotland's inexperience got the better of themselves.It was quite an even game.Give this Scotland team a year and they will start beating Pakistan Consistently.
You are absolutely correct regarding Yuvraj, Devindar,Lalit,Nitin Thimmiah.
However,Nikkin Thimmiah is a very good forward.I doubt his career is over.He is one of the best forwards we have.He must be injured or rested.He is a better forward than Mandeep Singh and probably at inching towards the level of Sunil and Ramandeep.
Regarding Affan Yousuf,he has got speed and skill and showed it in this year's Hockey India League but has not contributed significantly yet at the international level.He needs to be groomed and can be a good player for us in a Year or two years time.I wouldn't say his career is over.He has decent potential unlike Yuvraj, Devindar,Nitin ,Lalit etc as you have rightly mentioned.
Lalit is a B team player.He does not fit into first 16 players.However, if some Injuries are there or rest needs to be given to certain players does Lalit fit in,otherwise not.
Guys,anyone who is interested in Hockey or understands Hockey,I recommend you to watch Akashdeep Singh's Goal today.It was really a class goal and I personally haven't watched a better goal than this.

We are not going to win against top teams with players like Sumit,Satbir,Jasjit and Harjeet.
Also,missing Defenders like Rupinder and Raghunath
We should look at other Tournaments to groom these players instead of these High level Tournaments.
