this guy hoopistani was the one who made me follow basketball .. i think the only dedicated blog for basketball from india

Yeah his articles on Sportkeeda helped a lot.

Coming to the sport I hope Bhamara makes it to D1 College level in US and then who know NBA on cards ?

    B-)

  • Chances are good for that. I hope he can make it on the NBA stage though. The NBA is hell-bent on the Indian market and Bhamara is perfect for them.

Dream move for Indian Basketball. But he has to work on his stamina and speed only then he'll be successful.

True but he is a center. Center's are fine when it comes to speed. As long as he can be athletic, strong, and move from one side of the court to another in enough time then he is good enough.

Agree. The AIFF and PFF should organize a mini-tournament for our under-19 sides in England in August which would count as preparation for the 2014 AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers. It would benefit both teams.

We could also play some U19 Championship clubs.

A tournament with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh teams in UK will be great. Host games there in Birmingham, Bradford, Oldham, Croydon, Ilford and all those places with huge Asian population.

Shah are you from Bradford???By any chance do you remember there was a cricket series unofficial between India XI and Pakistan XI in bradford or near Manchester . I remember pitch invasion by fans-I was small but I remember Samir Dighe from India helped India win one game. One game was won by Pakistan. india team with Bhutia toured UK nad played some games with clubs in late 90s.
