the commentators says that the stadium is expected to be filled for final and more seats could be required so they are planning for screening of match on a giant screen in football stadium close the final stadium..
just shows how the tournament's response is in a city(Ranchi) which was considered not so hockey friendly at initial stages by media
Kinda makes you wonder if it can be football friendly as well. They have a world-class stadium there as well for football. Get that pitch better and maybe the AIFF should do some India matches there.

the screening will be on that football stadium only...
so we can say hockey is using infra of football in better way

I know but wouldnt they have to clean some of those seats to have the viewing. That could help the stadium and football. Problem is that no team is coming up from there.
