Correction. He has never played in the J.League or J.League 2nd Division. He is a Japanese Football League player. His time at JEF was spent on the bench.
However this is still a great signing for Shillong Lajong. They get a good, experienced guy who has been effective in the JFL from what I hear. This will also help the younger players at the club as they will learn from a seasoned veteran of the game.
The guy though sounds like he could be a signing in India. As far as I know the non-contract deal means that he is on a pay-as-you-play deal at Bury FC. An I-League club should inquire over the summer. Dempo?

Ask Debarghya as he was the one who added it in June 2012. NOTE: He signed for Bury FC in November 2012. I call fakes.
