Above all this, why give out awards to these franchisees for youth development when they could have very well spend that money on increasing the number from 24 to say 40.

As for the stuff that happened, this is just the first time... hopefully these problems get addressed and prevented as time goes on.
As for Goa, hopefully FC Goa can help change some things. Yes, Goa defeated West Bengal but that was with players without proper training and coaching, now you got them in a different environment and its how these guys adapt to that change and looks like the Atletico de Kolkata ones adapted best.
Of course this could just be bias from Jose Barreto and other people but I like to believe otherwise.
No Players from Goa. one reason is u14 players were not released by the goan clubs as the u14 league is going on they are also busy in inter village/inter word matches. 2ndly big Chunk of Goan players are playing for Goa Football Development Council league they have not released them for FC Goa trails. only left over's not so good players were there in trails for FC Goa.
United SC fielded players who played in Ileague 2 and were clearly above 19. But I was watching the match on tv and that winger Jagannath Orao has got some real pace and skill. He should stay away from the Big 2 and join something like Pune FC or Mumbai FC where he would get playing time.
