Hernandez is not a happy person these days. He came to India to make money while not being fully fit. Now this new coach is creating trouble for him.

I think this is all media speculation. Of course most of it is right but he is also a professional and now outlets like Goal.com are taking advantage.

Having watched all Prayag games this season, I will have to say Gourmangi Singh, is turning out to be a huge LIABILITY as predicted by me no sooner I heard the news of calcutta clubs wanting to bring him this season. He jacked up his price very cleverly by negotiating hard ball with Bagan and Prayag officials by cribbing against coaches like Subrata Bhattacharya who are not scare to point out his long list of deficiencies.

Just like any foreign ooach who shows up in India, Eelco is totally ignorant of Indian player mentality. In his efforts at enforcing strictly disciplined dutch/german culture,
not possible in India where "chalta hai yaar" attitude rules, the players look shaky and nervous instead with such strict disciplinarian a coach. Also he has failed to PINPOINT THE REAL CULPRIT, benching critical players like Hernandez, Subrata Paul instead and the team having to pay a heavy price for his egoistic exclusions.

Subrata Bhattacharya is disliked for similar reasons in spite of he not being as strict as Schattorie. .

Don't blame the coach blame the management of Nabab Da...
90Laks for Gouramangi !! he's always been a pussy & a liability at the back. He's lazy and like most players of his ilk, once they get that contract they just put in Avg performances week in week out. Here is a player that tried out for an A League team a few years back, BUT where is his motivation to try to play outside India now ?
Paul has an ego bigger than Hernandez belly , and if he isn't benched he'll continue with this attitude ! if rumours of his salary are true , then he's earning almost as much as top MLS goalkeepers... wonder what Prayag's US Goalie coach thinks of it all ?
Playing Carlos out of position is a big mistake, and needs to make better use of Lester and Laklamal.

Dhanachandra is also proving to be very expensive for what he offers, certainly not 40laks player

I'd rather blame Bagchi, the owner over Nabab da. It was Bagchi who was after Sanjay Sen. Nababda's blunder was overpaying for very mediocre players like Mangi and Dhana. Mangi has failed the defence time and again, the first goal prayag conceded today was solely his fault, not sure what technique is it to stand behind the opponent striker while defending in a dead ball situation.

Dhana is definitely  not worth 40 lakhs

40 lakhs for dhana??that is crazy i believe

Not surprisingly, now that Air India managed to do it... Prayag are the only team in the I-League not to have kept a clean sheet this season !

100% agree with Eelco, just look at the technical mistakes the I-League players keep making , not to mention the Goalkeepers this season.. Add to that the random decisions by referees, no wonder high number of goals in the I-League come from set-pieces or possession being lost in the defensive 3rd of the pitch.

Just because Prayag spent 20 Crores building this squad , didn't make below average players better !!
