Apparently it was KFA's decision to host WCQ in Kochi
It was supposed to be in TVM ,then KFA decided against it citing that they won't get much crowd in TVM
So they changed it to Kochi where below 2k people came to watch the match even though 5k+ free tickets were given out .Another great news coming in from Kerala is that the IL & FS are about to hand over the Greenfield stadium to Kerala Cricket Association due to the unavailabilty of JN stadium kochi till 2017 .

Sanju Pradhan has opened a football academy in Sikkim. The academy has been opened in his own village, Sombaria. The academy is named after him-Sanju Pradhan Football Academy. Whenever he gets time, Sanju visits the academy, encourages the players and notes down the names of talented players. In his absence, his friend, Engfo Subbai, teaches the young kids. At present, there are 35 boys enrolled in the academy. Sanju also invites senior footballers like Bikash Jairu and Nirmal Chhetri to visit the academy. The East Bengal player however admitted that finances were a major problem. If his friends did not lend him a helping hand, he could not have run the academy. Sanju himself provides for the boots, jerseys, balls by buying them from the Kolkata Maidan market. Not only so, the footballers are sent to trials in different clubs before the beginning of the football season. If they come to Kolkata, they stay in Sanju's flat. Sanju said, 'The academy is my dream. I need to make it much bigger.' He has a different passion about his football academy. He dreams that the academy will give rise to the future Sanjus.    Source: Ebela
Kudos to Sanju for his endeavour.
