<br><div><br></div><div>The AIFF. They have been doing this for years and look at the results. Finally we get a guy with new, fresh ideas who has done well in the past with good sides. Of course he will be demanding. If he was not demanding then he would be useless. Being demanding shows how much passion he has for actually improving the standard here in this country and how pissed he is at the current situation.</div>

Baan is great and all that is fine. I guess no one can disagrre with that. My point is that we are not ready yet for people like Baan. To implement his ideas successfully, we need a strong financial background. Currently AIFF is struggling to run even the worthless league. How can they start nationwide scouting, training, acquire skilled coaches and build up infrastructure? All of these are pre-requisite to a successful implementation of those ideas. If we do not have strong financial background, I am seriously against calling such qualified people and paying them with our life for writing books about how to develop Indian football. Also, you can blame AIFF but I don't think they are being notorious here by bringing Baan but not listening to him. They simly don't have the money! I would blame AIFF for this foolish decision of getting him here precociously.

Well technically at the time we were on the verge of apparently gaining big money every year from IMG-Reliance. So much has changed since November 2011 (around when Baan was hired) to July 2013.<div><br></div><div>I think that at that point it mostly made sense financially to get these kinds of people into Indian football. We were almost guaranteed a good some from a company with a good, reputable soccer background but somewhere down the line it all went down the toilet with IMG-Reliance having there own agenda, away from Baan.</div><div><br></div><div>Now I have already accepted that Baan is gone and that it is good because what he wanted was never going to happen. All I was saying is that he was not useless and that he was really the key to unlocking this giant potential we have. </div><div><br></div><div>Sadly the AIFF and IMG-Reliance were not thinking straight, and they went against the man with actual footballing knowledge at not only a high level but at low levels as well and threw him away thinking that they knew what to do (IMG-Reliance mainly). Now we are stuck with this cesspool which we may not be able to get out of.</div><div><br></div><div>The problem is not just Baan but that we are losing people like him and maybe soon we could lose Wim and Scott and FIFA and all of them and be left with idiots. We will be back to squad 1 from where we were in February 2011. That is the main problem here and who is to blame? AIFF and IMG-Reliance.</div>
