Lalkamal Bhowmick for starters. Anil Kumar could be in contention for the next call up once I-League begins. Ramandeep Singh could surprise a few with Air India. Also Sandesh Gadkari could make himself a presence again. And of course Gurpreet Singh Sandu and some Pailan boys include Ravi Kumar, Deepak Devrani, Holicharan Narzary, and making his comeback... Shilton D'Silva.
Oh and Subhash Singh and Abhra Mondal from Pune FC.
So according to Sunil in that article that Kshitij posted, AIFF might arrange a few friendlies in October and November. Hopefully the win against Cameroon means that some top tier Asian sides might agree to our request of having a friendly with them. Please AIFF, schedule some great friendlies including one in Kolkata and one in Mumbai/Goa.

I could not see beyond 1-1 as i had to go for mass, frankly thought, well good effort so far and India cannot expect to win against Cameroon after end of regulation time..fast forward 1 hour later i get a call from my bro and i get the best news that India and retained the Nehru cup..WOW.. never in my wildest dream i thought this would happen..
I loved what i saw in the first half..good pressing , passing and chasing...what a change from the Nepal AFC games we played!!.. i just hope someone recorded the entire match and uploaded it on Utube and i can really enjoy wtahcing tihs game. This win should surely interest other countries to play with India..AIFF should not lose this opportunity
This coupled with Arsenal Beating Liverpool just made my day!!!.. We played a composed , controlled game with 2 of teh 3 new recruits opening the goal tally. 3 games and we have still kept a clean slate.
Back to Nehru cup ...Lots of positives to take + the coach is also making the right noises asking that we play in FIFA friendlies to improve our rankings...I am now being cynical , but within a week this euphoria will die down and things will settle , but will AIFF start use this momentum to do something, like arranging friendlies?.. will they seriously look at dedicating a class football stadium with proper drainage facility. will they lay down a grassrooots road map to encourage money and talent to flood indian football..
keeping my fingers crossed that we inch if not run towards our goal of a asian football superpower

India's chief coach Wim Koevermans
tonight termed the Nehru Cup triumph
as an 'incredible achievement' as the
victory came over a quality side like
Cameroon which is in the top-60 in FIFA
rankings.
