Is this data authentic or true???
I would not put much into these numbers. Specially merchandise.
ticket sales negligible??? Any journalist who says this needs to get his head examined. Minimum 50 rupees and 10000 spectators also it is 65 lakh rupees just by 13 home games. Then there are Local league games and some biggies like Derby clash. More then 1 Crore per season atleast just by ticket sales. This latest derby game between Mohun bagan and East Bengal say 80000 tickets were sold at 50 rupees so they got 40 Lakh from just 1 game. Then what about travel subsidy for playing away games, flight ticket, hotel water etc.
From todays Mohammedan SC vs Dempo match players will have to go under dope test. One player from each team will have to give dope test. That player for dope test will be chosen via lottery.
