    To be fair to @dominic ... he has a point , albeit it sounds very paranoid / conspiracy theory like...

    1 team will be relegated this season for sure . AIFF would prefer it to be a Kolkata or a Goan team , as this would help with their "vision plan"
    The document submitted by a General Secretary last year had called for limiting 2 teams per city and the creation of a pan-Indian league with "franchise teams"** in new cities like Bangalore, Chennai etc.
    Given Valanka and Churchill Alemao's constant criticism of the AIFF , and the general dislike my footballers ( lack of payments *#) and administrators  of this club ,,, they are like the Leeds Utd of Indian football.

    AIFF authorities and a lot of people in that group of the footballing fraternity will be happy to see the back of Churchill Brothers Football Club. I personally think it will be a great loss, as they are the most unpredictable team EVER

    Just for those BFC supporters on this forum defending your club.... here's a conspiracy theory for you...
    1. Week 11 Shillong Lajong had a bye... Week 12 they played Bengaluru FC
    2. Week 12 Churchill had a bye week....week 13 they played Bengaluru FC
    3. Week 13 Mohd Sporting had a bye week....week 14they played Bengaluru FC
    4. Week 14 East Bengal had a bye week....week 15 they played Bengaluru FC
    5. Week 15 Salgaocar had a bye week....week 16 they played Bengaluru FC !!!!!
    every team that plays Bengaluru FC has had an extra week's rest before playing them....

    Finding conspiracy theories in I-League is not difficult......

    *#  Churchill Brothers have outstanding payments...but as they pay by cash and pay in chances of advance etc.  its' tough to prove their lack of payments in front of authorities. Also players don't have proper contracts and are made to sign other documents to accept lesser pay mid-season !!
