@gaffertape - regarding ur post on bengaluru fc playing teams which had a week rest, i couldn't understand how that is good for BFC? isn't it better for the opponent team? more rest? or is it a case of lach of match practice (but 2 weeks gap is enough for that???)

This could work both way. With a has team could be more fresh and perform at their best or they might not perform at their best because of a sudden break in matches.

So wait, because a club like Bengaluru FC is not losing money (supposedly) they are doing nothing? First off, Bengaluru FC IS LOSING money. Who is paying for the stadium work? The scoreboard that appears sometimes? The seats? Who pays to take the players on travel? And yes, who pays for the player contracts? They may have ways of not making salaries count via taxes etc but they still pay them and thus are losing money.

As for the other clubs, well, lets be honest, when you think about it, it is Bengaluru FC paying more. Bengaluru FC have invested in a lot, mainly off the pitch while the majority of the league has not. Player salaries aside, Bengaluru FC is definetly paying the price, just like every business in the world.
AIFF pays to every club for travel expenses. There is a grant given which takes care for travel tickets, Hotel etc. Also stadium maintenance is the job of  stadium owners-in this case Karnataka State Football association which in turn got money from government.

So all the JSW branding was not Bengaluru FC and the scoreboard was payed by the same KSFA who cant run a proper league?

Thanks for the reminder of the travel... forgot.

the scoreboard and the BFC branding was done by JSW only, don't expect that from KSFA!

@rudra ...I tongue in cheek meant it for those claiming BFC were getting favors.
When teams facing them have an advantage of an extra few days rest. Which given ileague travel is quite a bonus
