actually he was offered a move for Blackburn rovers when they are in premiere league but baichung turned down the offer he said not at this age ..he was around 32-33 years then ....
Interestingly earlier the Rao’s are said to have offered India captain Baichung Bhutia a contract for the second half of the Premier League, but our seasoned captain had turned down the offer knowing that the Premiership would be a stage too big for him at this age. The Rao’s are looking at options on how to create a connect between Blackburn Rovers and India, and they see the need of an Indian player or a British player of Indian origin coming in to make it possible. And currently there is no one better option then the former England Under-20 captain Michael Chopra. But Chopra hasn’t been having his best of seasons for Cardiff City as he has dropped down the pecking order behind Craig Bellamy and Jay Bothroyd, but he still has an impressive record for the Bluebirds scoring 26 goals in 56 appearances. When last season Cardiff signed Chopra on a permanent deal they had to pay 4 Million Pounds to Sunderland for the boy from Newcastle, so they would surely look to recoup most of that fee if they let him go for a Premiership club. m.sportskeeda.com/football/blackburn-aiming-to-sign-chopa
Jerry BOIMAH Karpeh on way out of SCdeGoa for sure. with Peter Vaz back to picking the line up and the formation along with trusty liutenant Ogba Kalu...lot more player movements at this club to come
That is complete bull! Wadoo is finished as a starter in the I-League in my opinion. Overall this team is filled with guys who are completely average and/or used to be considered decent. Their foreigners are also average with Boco probably being the better one but you can't just have him playing with these players and expect greatness from him. The guy is used to playing with players at a League One level and the I-League players are not that. Bright only has the power to finish and nothing more.
The only good thing I can find about Bharat FC on the field is the goalkeeper Arindam who has actually done pretty well this season and looks fit.
And don't get me started on Bharat FC off the field... seriously, all the Pune clubs are rubbish are running footballing organizations!
Actually Tomba Singh and Manjit Singh have done well for Kalyani Bharat FC. Such clubs should go for routine African players who can adapt at Indian conditions rather then Aussie/UK passport holders who are not that experenced with Indian players/conditions. How much money Kalyani Bharat FC is giving to AIFF for Corporate slot? Corporate slot is for every year?
We talk rubbish some time Melbourne touches 40 degree in summer. It's not possible to play. Aussies are use to this type of environment. Only they might struggle with life style
