Everybody in this thread can surely give his/her valuable input, but that doesn't give anybody the freedom to write something which is normally spoken at a road side tea stall. I don't know how a person can so specifically comment about some players joining or not joining one particular club. What is the reason ? This particular club is not living up to its high standards over a period of 5-6 years..right. But they have seen all these since 1889 and surely the bad days will be over. Don't hurt any body's sentiments, especially those who are not just Internet / facebook supporters. Anybody can retalliate but that will be of bad taste. So one should be careful in his comments.
Also before the official end of the I-League, how Angus could sign for Dempo at 1.4 Cr ? Anything can be possible with this AIFF set up !
@AKB Ya.... again, not my style. I am already a controversal member on here and very vocal so this is how I am so either ignore me or go reply, don't argue about maturity and all that, I mean, you are on an internet forum for gods sake, maturity is the least you should expect, arrogance the first thing.
Bagan had almost clinched Ranti, when the Old Bhowmick(who is taking over in Bagan) stepped in,to stop MB from finalising Ranti.Bhombol Bhowmick has never been a fan of Ranti. So, he was struck off !(feel sorry for MB offcials - missed an opportunity to make some quick buck!) Meanwhile Colaco(who will be retained by EB) who has an excellent working rel'ship with Ranti urged EB offcials to finalise him(obviously in place of 36-36-36 Moga!) - but obviously a bad purchase at a hefty price.Ranti was too keen to continue in Kolkata, so EB shud have waited for him to take this bait, and he could have been an easy buy. However, EB almost aped MB by unnecessarily pulling the trigger early, and Ranty tripped them even before joining the club!
Having borne the brunt of United's erratic payment, it was obvious that Ranti (if he wanted to stay in Kolkata, which he is), wud have gone to EB and NOT MB b'coz MB's payments have not been transparent and lot of their contracted players(even of last year) did not recieve their dues.Guess, with Swapan Bal not keeping well(last heard news) and not in the thick of action these days, Debabrata Sarkar did a harakiri - by which Ranti made some extra mullah, thereby making up for the year's loss at United! Mission accomplished by Ranti..! And Kolkata officials have once again been handsomely screwed!

Just can't expect every one to be decent & matured. Misplaced arrogance doesn't pay, some learns fast, others don't.
Ranty looks to have used MMB to get a better deal from East Bengal !
