Who cares for I-League ? AIFF has so many things in their agenda.. 1- ISL, 2- Reduce no. of clubs in I-League so that ultimately AFC de-recognises it. 3- In the name of ISL and Youth World Cup (hosted by a nation who is always around 140-150 in FIFA ranking) make money-money and money. What pains me is the fact that Print or Electronic media also play to their tunes. We the general football lovers get frustrated but we can't do anything except hoping against hope that some day in our lifetime we will see India earn their place in World Cup.
i've had chat with michael chopra...he said he was intrested in i-league but only if everything means his demand is met.... by his way its look like he is having upper hand means club have to bow down and meet his demand...he might be very expensive player in i-league history he will not come cheap..
Note: the one who don't believe that he answered me or something then no problem but don't comment that what is the proof etc...etc...or if you are not comfortable then treat it as rumour...
Kolkata Clubs are quiet for a while, now with Churchill players will have to released by the club, they will be on a shopping spree.... especially Balwant & Ravanan. Also Eric of United could be a decent inexpensive signing.
Though I am a hardcore Mohun Bagani, But I still feel very sad for these 4 clubs. Their expulsion will do more harm than even a gram of good to Indian football. My sympathies will be with these clubs. AIFF should have given them another year. When the Champion Team gets 40L as Prize money.... it is a joke to talk about professionalism. AIFF have proved how unprofessional they are. Why they could not rope in some sponsors to help the clubs who were in a tight corner from the start of the last season ? AIFF & Professionalism ????? To me it is the JOKE OF THE YEAR.
