Gokulam Kerala & Kerala Blasters are playing with a complete different squad than I-League & ISL squad.
Kerala Blasters squad is much younger. Yoheimba Meitei, who was part of cancelled AFC U16 squad, has started all the matches and is performing very good. Mutkasana Sharma, who trained with KBFC main team in Goa throughout the season is also part of the squad. Others include Deep Saha (former MB youngster), Sreekuttan VS (played for ARA in IL2 qualifiers), Muhammad Basith (RFYC graduate). Subha Ghosh was supposed to be a part of the squad, but did not make it (injury maybe).
Gokulam Kerala is playing with an experienced squad, with some players having I-League experience.
Kerala United is playing beautiful football with Arjun Jayaraj pulling the strings in midfield. Shows us what we missed since his move to KBFC.
Punjab police fc reached final in the birat gold cup in nepal in quater final they beat Machhindra Football Club nepal league current champion. Today in semifinal they beat sankata club other club from nepal top league . And punjab police is not even a professional club imagine if in punjab we have couple of semi professional club like in kerala league or mizoram league right now we have minerva academy and punjab fc . But minerva which is not belong to punjab because most of there player are from northeast ( nothing vs northeast people )but we need more professional club in punjab there are so much talent right now .football is popular at district level just in 3 district ludihana jalandhar and hoshiarpur imagine when football will reach all district .. at this semi professional level we produced so many player for india like manvir sandesh gurpreet and many more. with level of professional club ,football culture, infrastructure, and football academy way less then other states like kerala goa maharashtra karnataka mizoram west bengal ..
True we can almost build sports team for almost all our sports just from punjab. They're good at olympic sports, cricket, football, hockey, volleyball and much more.
Don't think any state in india can claim that or come close to that. Just investing in punjab will do wonders for football as you said !!
Punjab, AP and specifically Hyderabad, TN- so north and south India. If we start unearthing talents from these parts India will improve , reason being they are well built and mentally strong
in childhood, my elders told me not to pick up fight with people from punjab because they eat roti/wheat diet and have strength, we eat rice and hence we are not having muscular enough and become lazy.
