The thing I am against SC is he is tactically very weak against a stronger team. If need to improve we need start not losing home games against teams likes of Oman, Bahrain, etc. Also, if things goes South at away games, he simply keeps playing same team. (I appreciate the change of Udanta to Jaki in today's match).
Moreover, his biased selection is something I am against of. He needs to understand the players better by looking at I-league matches or using scout, which he is not doing at all.

    Stephen Constantine deserves a praise.

    1)  Atleast we are still in Asian Cup Qualification Process and with some good Draw, we can make it to Asian Cup. Top 2 in 4 Teams is achievable.

    2) Stephen Constantine delivered us these results (SAFF Cup + Third Round) with depleted Squad. His gambles with new players like Jairu, Passi, Chhangte has paid off. These players have proved Shahrukh Khan Dialogue "Never Underestimate the Power of Common Man".

    3) India will improve their FIFA Rankings. Thats an achievement.

    4) Our situation under previous coach Wim koevarmans has gone so much down that we were struggling against Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Our morale was so much down that we might not have cleared First Round of Qualification against Nepal.

    5) Our Physicality or say Fitness of National Team has improved.

    6) More work needs to be done but we should remember that last year was an extremely busy season. Next year, there will be less distractions. Third Round will not start before March 2017 and players will have enough rest

    7) Never remove a Coach just after he has delivered a positive Result. We know what happened just after Bob Houghton got us qualified in AFC Challenge Cup. It was very tempting to bring Dutch Coach Kpevarmans and we were supposed to play Total Football or tiki-taka Football. What happened?

    8) Ashley Westwood is untested as far as any National Team is considered. Club success is different then National Team success. There is nothing to suggest that Ashley will bring better Results then Constantine.

Yes for..Most of the points and Stephen Constantine deserves a praise..

But our performance in Qualifiers is pathetic.. and we have sufficient time to get ready for 3rd round if we appoint new coach.. with SC we cannot achieve much in long term...

If we still talk about Nepal and other SAFF countries.. then better we take a break and stop discussing about National team..

One step at a time. We are the best team at SAFF Level. We should strive to be better then all South east Asian Teams (except Thailand)  and better then Central Asian countries (except Uzbekistan). This Third Round and AFC Asia Cup Qualification will prove that. Arab Countries or East Asia is beyond us.
It will be foolish to think that we will be defeating Arab countries once Ashley Westwood becomes Coach. BFC lost recently to Laos club in AFC Cup under Ashley.

Last season was very very busy. This time players will get proper Rest and hopefully we will qualify for Asia Cup. A good Draw is important.
We have finished our Season on a High after a long time and hopefully we will build on it.

6-1 win ensured SC remains till contract ends. High chance it can be renewed till the end of AFC qualifiers.

Positives of SC time in NT so far

    - Massive number of debuts, Some of them are duds but some of them are really something we can work with in the future.

    - Going back to 4-4-2 or something close to that allows our boys to play the known game of punt it and chase it. Kovermans possession based play might be a good idea but was lost in this team.

    - Bringing in the old boys from previous time when SC coached.Loved that bunch.

    - Scouting has certainly improved leaps, Also helps the fact that the team is formed based on form.

    - They are still with a shout to qualify for AFC. However given our group stage performance where we were beaten by turkmenistan and guam puts us in a problem. Have to perform much much better than we ever have so far to be in with a shout.

In 1 year time, if we can win against 3rd best team in South east (ASEAN) & Central Asian countries... then we can say we are progressing good if not best.. and also seems to be u forgot or missed to include Iran and Australia in those regions.. however,.. I will not expect us to compete with top 4 football nations :) :)

I'm not voting for Ashley Westwood as he is not tested yet... As u said, managing national team is tricky and different.. Just looking for an upgrade to SC

    ;DX.. Agree with ur comments..

But I hope we (u, me,munna219777 & rest) could have sounded differently if we won marginally (2-1) or avoided defeat with 1-1 draw against Loas...

SC is good in testing new players.. But I don't like his game plan and in his recent interviews, he sounds like pessimistic...

Stephen is very pessimistic..he is very lucky because of this format..basically under him we finished last in a 5 team group and struggled away against Laos and Nepal..what kind of improvement is this..its best to let him go
